About Laurie

Hi, I'm Laurie Welch, founder of Welch Bookkeeping Solutions, based in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

My career began in banking, where I spent years working closely with small business owners and gained firsthand insight into the financial challenges, priorities, and goals they face every day. I saw how important accurate financial information is to making confident business decisions, and that experience inspired me to bring my financial expertise into bookkeeping.

Today, as a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, I help small business owners stay organized, understand their numbers, and gain confidence in their financial position. My goal is to provide reliable, accurate bookkeeping services that allow business owners to spend less time worrying about their books and more time focusing on what they do best.

Originally from Rhode Island, I made Massachusetts my home after meeting my late husband. When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with family and exploring the outdoors. My appreciation for nature and meaningful relationships has shaped my approach to business—one built on trust, integrity, and genuine care for the people I serve.
